I did not set out to build an EdTech company. I set out to teach.

Over fifteen years, I taught in four countries — Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, China, and Spain. I worked across American, British, and Canadian curricula. I sat with students from over forty nationalities, many of them brilliant and struggling at the same time — not because the material was too hard, but because the resources available to them were either too expensive, too generic, or too far removed from how they actually learned.

My academic background spans business, language, and education. I hold a BBA, an MBA, a BA in English Literature, History, and Education, and a Master's in Education Leadership and Management, where my research focused on the Hidden Curriculum — the unwritten, often unexamined set of norms, expectations, and power structures that shape how students actually experience schooling, well beyond what is formally planned or taught. That research stayed with me. Education is never only what is written in a syllabus. It is also what happens in the space around it, and who that space was designed for.

I also hold a diploma in Fashion and Textile Design and a background in Oracle 10g development. The range is not accidental. It reflects a long interest in how things are made — whether a garment, a system, or a lesson — and what separates something that works from something that merely exists.

I am currently a doctoral candidate researching AI hallucination in education — what it means when the tools we give to students confidently produce wrong answers, and what that demands from those of us building those tools. That research shapes every product decision we make at Skyen Solutions. We do not use AI carelessly. We study what it gets wrong, because we are responsible for what it gets right.

The dream that drives this work is not complicated: quality education, for every individual, regardless of what their family can afford. I wrote that on a cover photo once. I mean it every day.

Skyen Solutions is the long version of that sentence. We are building slowly and carefully — because the people we are building for deserve tools that actually work. Not tools that simply launch.

If you are a teacher overwhelmed by preparation, a student navigating a curriculum that was not designed with you in mind, or a parent looking for something genuinely worth the money — this is being built for you.

Not as a product. As a promise.
